Chris Schwager has emerged as an up and coming film-maker, both in the world of corporate productions and in the creative arena. He started out with his first project at the age of 15, and after directing a short film at aged 20 he was hooked, and has pursued a career in professional film-making ever since.
From 1995, Chris divided his time between working as an audio visual technician and as an award winning director/producer. By 2000 he had gained recognition from the famous Sydney’s Tropfest and continued on the festival circuit around the world, winning awards for cinematography, music, directing & script writing.
In early 2002, Chris co-founded Ridge Films Corporate, producing many promotional and training videos for clients including Woolworths, Telstra and RTA. Chris is dedicated to top quality results for clients and is a master of the latest video technology, including shooting and editing in full-resolution HD.
Recently Chris was 1st Assistant Director on ‘ Gabriel’, a full-length feature film released by Sony Pictures in 2007 and distributed to mainstream cinemas world wide.
