For over 15 years, Martyn Taylor has worked to develop a broad skill set in cinematography and post-production (Final Cut Studio, Adobe After Effects and Protools) for film and video.
In 1995, Martyn completed an Advanced Diploma in Film and Television Production at North Sydney College of TAFE. He became a professional freelance cameraman filming numerous shorts, music videos, TV commercials along with corporate videos and multi-camera events.
Between 2002 and 2005, Martyn worked full-time for the Australian Caption Centre (ACC), as Editor and Multimedia Operator. He was also Hardware and Workflow Specialist, during the installation and commissioning of a million dollar video restoration and archiving facility for the ACC.
Martyn is now an industry leader in High Definition (HD) productions and work flow, with the aquisition of a RED 4K Digital Cinema Camera. Martyn combines a down-to-earth attitude with high technical expertise, without stifling the creative process.
Martyn adds high level experience and professionalism to Ridge Films, his contracts throughout Australia include Westfield, Westpac, QANTAS and Phantom Records.
