Steps to Connect and Record Using Your DIY Desktop Studio
- Open the Camera App
- Click the Start button, type "Camera," and open the app.
- Select Desktop Studio Camera
- Click the camera icon to switch to your desktop studio camera.
- Ensure no other apps (like Zoom) are using the camera to avoid conflicts.
- Disable Built-in Camera
- Open Device Manager (Start > Type "Device Manager" > Enter).
- Right-click on the integrated camera and select "Disable device."
- Start & Save Recording
- Click the video icon in the camera app and press "Take Video" to begin recording.
- Press the stop button to end the recording. The video is saved automatically.
- Review Your Recording & Check Audio Settings
- Click the icon at the bottom right of the app to review your video.
- Right-click on the video, select "Open folder," to find all your recordings.
- Go to the Start menu, type "Sound settings," and open it.
- Ensure your DIY Desktop Studio is selected as the input device.
